Ryan and Jess’s relationship is like a pair of well-worn, comfy jeans. Bear with me on the analogy. It’s the pair that you’ve had forever, with holes in the knees that you put there, not bought pre-holed. They’re cool, not pretentious, faded only by warm summer days, hard work, and lots of walking around. Not to mention they make you look good- flatter you in the right places, make you confident and happy. See where I’m going with this? Ryan and Jess have been together a while, so they are comfortable in who they are together and that level of comfort welcomes those around them to participate- I know Jesse and I felt immediately comfortable with them, and seeing how their familes so easily laughed and loved and delighted in their marriage, I know this is not a new felling for those around them. They are eternally cool, smart and they also have an awesome dog who became an internet sensation after their engagement shoot (who you can see featured here on our old blog: Jamaica Plain photos.) We were happy to be a part of this wedding- and I say that because we felt more like guests that photographers!

You may remember this photo from the post Jess*Ryan teaser at the Warren Center… notice the difference?

Ryan and Jess had their immediate families come together before the wedding to get formals taken. We had enough time to get both sides in one big picture! So nice to do!
Jess had a good friend make her unique wedding jewlery. It's by Red Chair, and you can check it out at redchair.etsy.com
We like to add an artistic edge to some of the photographs. This is just Ryan and Jess walking across the lawn. The grounds at the Warren Center are amazing.

Jess's amazing veil made the ceremony photos a little different from the rest of the day. We jazzed up the photo a bit to reflect Jess's awesome style

Each cupcake was so detailed
Someone really liked the snack!

There was a huge hail storm in the middle of the reception! It was fabulous. Oh this awesome chick? It's Erica, one of our former brides! It's so nice to see our couples again and catch up
And then the sun came out and it was gorgeous again! This is the main hall at the Warren Center, where the reception was held.
After the wedding, many guests were staying right at the Warren Center. So they had a bonfire! The amazing team at the Warren Center even brought out the fixings for smores!

A family member also brought celebratory cigars- Here's Ryan looking like a bad ass smoking his. Notice the strategically placed wedding band. It's always so cool to see guys with their newly minted wedding bands
