Dena * Tom – Regis College Wedding

August 26, 2009

Sorry for the lack of posting! We’re a little behind because of the wedding in Jamaica, a boudoir, an engagement shoot, and a wedding in upstate New York quickly approaching. But I haven’t forgotten you, oh faithful readers. Here are some beautiful photos of a beautiful couple and their wedding at Regis College, which is way atop my list of favorite venues this year. Such a gorgeous and different location!
Dena and Tom found us because their wedding photographer disappeared. While I would have been freaking out about the money lost and the stress, Dena took it all in stride. Her and her fabulous mom Nancy stopped by to chat only 2 days before the wedding. I knew there was a reason we still had one free weekend in July! We are glad that we form a relationship with all our clients so that they can rest assured that we are going to be there on their wedding day!

Enjoy the wedding photos- a few posed wedding photos, but mainly our favs, wedding photojournalism. icon smile Dena * Tom Regis College Wedding

Some of my fav parts of the wedding? Notice the flowers (made by Dena’s aunt, and if you’re interested in her, let me know and I’ll pass along her email address), the tower they were married in front of, and the DJs! They are straight from a club, and they were amazing! Once we find their card, we’ll pass along the info. The dance floor was full all night.Dena.Tom008w Dena * Tom Regis College WeddingDena.Tom004w Dena * Tom Regis College Wedding

Because of the quick formals, Dena and Tom mingled with the guests during the cocktail hour. Here's a moment between Dena and her grandmother.

Jamaica- destination wedding photography

August 19, 2009

For this Boston wedding photographer, who rarely gets to the beach (especially during summers like this one!), being a destination wedding photographer in Jamaica for a few days was surreal. Sometimes pictures do speak a thousand words…IMG 9075w Jamaica destination wedding photography

Guestbooks!

August 14, 2009

We love guestbooks- instead of just a book with blank pages that ends up in your basement (at least that’s where ours ended up… I think), this is a book that you’ll want to display around the house! Keep it on the coffee table and read the lovely notes from people years from now… instead of reading a list of names (like ours!). Every second of your wedding is a memory waiting to happen, and this is a good way to record the well wishes of the people you love. I can’t remember a thing anyone said to me on our wedding day! The day passes so quickly! This keeps the notes forever and ever. I can’t rave more about this- I just love guestbooks so much.

Here are some photos of a guestbook (copyright NOT Ciras Photography. These are promo shots that we’ll be replacing as soon as our first guestbook comes in.) And they come in various shapes and sizes, covers- leathers and fabrics. Everything s so beautiful, and hand made. We custom design each one for you!

brandywine Guestbooks!

This leather is called "brandywine" but there are about 1,000 more colors and textures. See the texture of this leather? You can get smooth and textured, animal print or pastels. There is a cutout option for a coverphoto. Isn't it so classy?!

brandywine edge Guestbooks!

See how substantial the pages are? The leather also wraps around the cover so well that there's a cushion on the sides, and the ends are rounded.

brandywine spread Guestbooks!

Here's an example of the spread. The average guest book is 10 pages- 5 for photos and 5 for signing. We can make the whole photo your picture, or put it in a border, like this

brandywine signatures Guestbooks!

Here's an example of a spread with signatures. We also include a metallic pen for black-paged books.

sidewinder Guestbooks!

This cover is called "sidewinder". See how different it is while still being a high-class presentation?

white pgs Guestbooks!

This is the inside of the sidewinder covered guestbook. You can pick black or white pages to match the decor of your wedding.

We have offered guestbooks for a while, but this one is a little fancier. If you’re looking for something a little more laid back, check out this example of Kristen and John’s here:

You love us!

August 6, 2009

wwRated 2009 badge top You love us!

We’ve been wedding wire rated! What does that mean? That at least three people have gone to weddingwire.com and left nice messages about us. If you’re a past client and want to say nice things too, go to our storefront there and leave a note!

We like to give high-quality customer service that makes you feel like our only client, and to spend more time helping our current clients instead of spending lots of time getting new clients. Anytime you leave a nice note on message boards – such as the knot, weddingbee, wedding wire, wedding channel, project wedding, hint hint hint – we’re able to get more people interested in our work without sacrificing time away from the awesome clients we already have.

So thanks to those who have rated us on wedding wire, have yelled our praises on the knot, and have just been all around fabulous. You’re paying it forward to our soon-to-be clients, because they get more attention from us!

Boston Public Garden Engagement Photos

August 3, 2009

As Boston wedding photographers, there is no better place for us than our amazing city. We had two fabulous photo shoots in Boston Public Garden yesterday. I love that though they’re in the same place, the shoots are so different. We also brought the couples to two different parts of the park so that they’d get something uniquely them! Stay tuned for Mike and Kathleen in a swan boat and Andrea and Dan snuggled under a weeping willow. It was gorgeous weather, and great company. Thank you all for a wonderful Boston engagement session!

Kim and Mike, who are getting married at the Westin in Waltham:
