That’s right, Jesse and I got to be guests at a wedding. It was a little weird, and we were totally scoping out the hired photographers, but we thoroughly enjoyed being able to drink mojitos and laugh without the constant fear that the bride and/or groom would do something adorable when our cameras weren’t pointed at them. (As any of our clients can attest, we really are the paparazzi. It was so generous of them to give us the night off!)
Here are a couple of the few photos we did take at Joelle and Pearce’s wedding. I have known Joelle since 2003, when we both studied abroad together at Oxford University. She made me her friend the second night we were there, and I am lucky enough to have kept her my friend for the past 7 years. Here’s to my beautiful, talented, warm and funny friend, Jo, who I couldn’t live without. And to Pearce, the man who stole her heart.

Now, you all know that we’re not big “formal photo” takers… I much prefer the photo above where we’re laughing at each other. However, it’s nice that we have similar photos from my wedding, and now I can have these two below framed together!
