I’m in the midst of selecting my favorite 50 photos so I can have a highlight reel for new blog viewers to check out… but it’s excruciatingly hard to do. We’ve probably shot between 75 and 100 weddings (I’ve lost count) and I seriously fall in love with all of my clients. Jesse and I could just gab and gab about different fun things from weddings, and how nice our clients are, and how unique and artsy and fun and …. So narrowing it down to 50 total when we usually are gaga over 50 from each wedding is brutal. Alas.

Here’s one that will definitely make the cut… the rest should be debuted tomorrow-ish. (Even selecting which one to post here was hard!!)

How I feel right now:

Evan & Deanna’s wedding at the Harrington Farm in Princeton, MA was a dream summer wedding- beautiful light, happy people, warm day, and an absolutely gorgeous venue. I heart the Harrington Farm for weddings… it has such a New England laid-back feel. (You may remember Leah & Anthony’s Wedding, and it had the same vibe.) It also gives us plenty of space to wander around the grounds and get creative. Even though it was a bit on the hot side, Evan & Deanna were game for some portraits before the ceremony, and we had the time and space to get some really dramatic wedding portraits.

I don’t usually include photos of cocktail hour, but I just love the back deck at the farm… People can go inside to the bar and back out again so easily, and it feels so nice to be outside. Can’t you tell- everyone’s smiling because they love the outdoors!

EEEEEK! He is so adorable! Look at that hair. I am loving the rock start hairdo Mr. Ben has got going on.

Whenever we get a chance to travel for engagement shoots, we get super excited! This is our third engagement shoot in New York (for others, check out Leah & Anthony’s engagement shoot, and Kellie & James’s engagement shoot), and I love that each one is so different! Megan and I pinned a lot of photos together and it gave me a great feel for what kind of shoot she was going for. (Feel free to check out Megan & Jim’s E Shoot of Awesomeness on my pinterest)

Megan and Jim are getting married at the Red Lion Inn in Cohasset in October. This was a perfect shoot because the photos they’ll have from this are completely different than the beautiful rustic photos they’ll have from their wedding.

M&J, not only are you gorgeous, but you’re so much fun and we can’t even wait until October!

I love these two photos because I took one at almost the same time Jesse took another… I love that we got two unique angles… can you guess who took which one??

It’s my amazing husband’s first father’s day. Jesse, here’s to the bad and the good: all the nights you stayed up because she hates sleep, to all the times she puked on you the second you touched her, to when she bit you on Wednesday, and to the circus tricks, the laughter, the way she smiles when you pick her up in the morning, and to yesterday, when you called me and said, “we concluded the night by rolling around on the floor giggling.” I am so thankful for you, and I look forward to watching you two have inside joke for the rest of our lives.

Surprisingly, these were both taken in Manhattan!
