Why I love this Cape Cod Wedding photo

Tim & Trish’s wedding wasn’t without a hiccup or two. First, the entire waitstaff never showed up (but don’t worry- kick ass guests filled in, and then they found a local bartender who left work to come and help!), then the power went out! Jesse took the photo above which shows Tim and a friend fixing the blown fuse. BUT, the photo below that I snagged, shows the Chinese lanterns out, but the dancing continued. Trish had too many Irish relatives that were ready to party, and they weren’t about to let the power issue stop them.

These photos prove not only that Trish and Tim are awesome, but that if something goes wrong, who cares? You’re still dancing with everyone you love.

Erin & Dustin- New York Wedding, part deux

Last but not least is Erin & Dustin’s New York Reception. Held at a former winery, Erin really tailored the event to them- wine from around the area, large canvas prints from the wedding in Jamaica around the room, 4×6s of the wedding as favors… the food was even made from food grown in her and her grandmother’s gardens. It was beautiful.

We had a wonderful time at this fantastic cape cod wedding. Being Boston wedding photographers, we like to travel in the opposite direction and get to enjoy a different scene for a wedding. Tim and Trish are fabulous, I think you can see the fabulousness leaking out of the photos. They trusted us to do whatever we wanted, and the photos look so comfortable because of it. I’m posting these now so Trish doesn’t explode with anxiousness before the whole lot of them are done
