Ciras Photography on the Cover of Well Wed Magazine!

Last fall, Jesse and I had the pleasure of working with the fabulous team from Well Wed magazine, a beautifully designed and packed-with-wedding-goodness mag that I fell in love with years ago. Because it’s published twice a year, the photos were just released in the Spring/Summer issue. To our surprise- and absolute delight- a photo we took was selected for the cover! There’s also several pages within it that is dedicated to our shoot, and there’s a funny picture of us shooting together too.

Dena * Tom – Regis College Wedding

Sorry for the lack of posting! We’re a little behind because of the wedding in Jamaica, a boudoir, an engagement shoot, and a wedding in upstate New York quickly approaching. But I haven’t forgotten you, oh faithful readers. Here are some beautiful photos of a beautiful couple and their wedding at Regis College, which is way atop my list of favorite venues this year. Such a gorgeous and different location!
Dena and Tom found us because their wedding photographer disappeared. While I would have been freaking out about the money lost and the stress, Dena took it all in stride. Her and her fabulous mom Nancy stopped by to chat only 2 days before the wedding. I knew there was a reason we still had one free weekend in July! We are glad that we form a relationship with all our clients so that they can rest assured that we are going to be there on their wedding day!

Enjoy the wedding photos- a few posed wedding photos, but mainly our favs, wedding photojournalism.

Some of my fav parts of the wedding? Notice the flowers (made by Dena’s aunt, and if you’re interested in her, let me know and I’ll pass along her email address), the tower they were married in front of, and the DJs! They are straight from a club, and they were amazing! Once we find their card, we’ll pass along the info. The dance floor was full all night.

Because of the quick formals, Dena and Tom mingled with the guests during the cocktail hour. Here's a moment between Dena and her grandmother.

Jesse and I headed over to the Warren Center in Ashland this morning to scout the area for awesome photos at Jess and Ryan’s wedding at the end of the month. (If we’ve never shot a wedding at a venue before, we go out there to scope it out at least a week before the wedding.)
This place is gorgeous! It’s on a lake, and has about 40 acres of land. (I promise, Jess, that we won’t make you hike the whole thing in heels!) We were drawn to several locations- an old barn, a silo, a flowering tree, a clearing in the woods… I hope Jess and Ryan have given us plenty of time for portraits! This place will make for the ultimate New England wedding!
