Well, the rain held off for only a 24 hour period and we were able to take beautiful Boston wedding photos of Paula and Patrick before their Bostonian Millennium Hotel Wedding. There was even a map of all the locations we wanted to hit (Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, Christopher Columbus Park all for pre-ceremony photos), so a shout out to Mother Nature for holding in that rain.

What a view!

Don’t get me wrong, Boston folks are lovely ( this survey that says Bostonians are mean aside), but there is something downright loveable about Southerners. Jeannette and Frank, were all smiles and charm on the day of their Boston wedding, thousands of miles away from Alabama, their home. They fell in love with Boston when visiting for work a year or so ago, and Frank proposed to Jeannette at Mamma Maria in the North End. It seems only fitting that when they said their vows, they were at Mamma Maria again, in the same little corner where Frank asked Jeannette to marry him. It’s their own little place in Boston.

We met up with them at the Boston Millenium Hotel and wandered through Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall to get some awesome portraits. It was roughly 1,000 degrees out, but these two were resilient from Southern summers, and only laughed as Jesse and I sweat profusely! Then we walked down to the waterfront, and over to the restaurant. I wish we had this luxury with all our clients- what an awesome way to get a ton of beautiful portraits!

Jeannette and Frank came all the way from Alabama to get married in Boston. I completely understand their love for the city. I feel it too

Oh- and you can’t even tell that this is in crowded, busy Faneuil Hall!

I love this photo because everyone was thinking that Sandy’s mom was watching over Sandy and Craig’s Five Bridge Inn wedding, seeing a heart in the sky in this photo made everyone completely sure. See the heart?

I love this photo because sometimes it only takes one quick look.

Rene and her dad are not the super mushy types- they’re the tease-each-other-because-we-live-each-other types, which I can totally relate to So while there aren’t tons of weepy-eyed photos of them together, instead, in the middle of teasing, they shot each other this look. And I loved it.

Not to mention the amazingly glowy fall afternoon light that I made sure to put them in front of. This look still would have been cute if they were in an ugly hallway or something, but it’s SO much better with the warm light flickering through the trees, right?!
